About Course
Designed to train students in the use of equipment used in a professional kitchen, use and care of cooking knives, and basic cooking skills. These skills include choosing ingredients, flavorings, preparation and presentation of such items as stocks, sauces, salads, appetizers, sandwiches, and breakfast foods. Upon completion, student will have the skills to work as a prep or line cook in a restaurant.
Requirements
- Minimum KCSE grade of D(plain).
Admission Requirements on reporting day:
- KCSE Certificate.
- Copy of I.D or waiting card/ Birth Certificate.
- 2 passport size photos.

Fees Payment
- Fees to be paid in full or in three installments of 50% + 30% + 20%.
- Payment should be paid to the institute’s bank account and the original printed bank deposited slip sent to the institute for receipting or through paybill No.522522 followed by account No.1270957090
- Any unpaid cheque by the bank for whatever reason will attract a non-negotiable penalty of Ksh4,500.

- The invoice will serve as a reminder throughout the term on when the fees should be paid. Any formal fees payment plan should be made in the office within the first week of the term and not afterwards. Those paying in installments should pay before the 3rd day of the month.
- Fees once paid is not refundable. Cash payment is not acceptable.
